Taaqademy JAM BAND PROGRAMS are back!
Playing and creating music with other musicians is an essential part of music education. The energy, vibe and teamwork that go into getting a band together; the understanding of how to make someone else sound good ; the creative inspiration that comes from playing and improvising together - ah, we could go on. So we will!

Jam Band Programs will be run with a Hybrid Online + Offline Model, currently only available for our students in Bangalore.
How It Works

AUDITION
-
Jam Band Programs are open to all students that already play/sing a few songs.

Interested students submit a 60-sec playing/singing 'audition video'

Selected students will be assigned bands of similar age/playing level

ONLINE 1:1

Students in each 'band' then go through 10x60-min 1:1 Online Sessions (2/week), specific to the songs selected for the band's performance

Students will be provided sheet music/chord charts, lyrics, and all other resources, for their respective instrument / vocals.

JAM TIME!

Bands meet offline at a fully equipped rehearsal studio for 2x90-min Jam Sessions.

Everyone learns jam etiquette, working with tech, band teamwork, song presentation, live performance tricks, and more!

AUDIO + VIDEO REC.

Ready to perform, bands are captured on audio + video as they play their songs LIVE in the studio! (This counts as another 1X90min Session)
-
This final produced video is given to all participants, along with a certificate of completion.

BONUS: LIVE GIG!

Based on band availability / scheduling, it may be possible to include a live performance at a local venue.

This will involve additional costs as arrangements for the venue, sound, light, etc. have to be made.
